Work Location: 270 Corduroy Street, Vars, ON K0A 3H0 and different delivery locations in Ontario, primarily in the Ottawa region, Cornwall, Valley, Kingston, and Trenton; as well as different locations in Gatineau and Montreal, Quebec.

Job Description:

• Operate and drive commercial vehicles requiring a DZ license, to pick up and deliver primarily food and beverage items
• Accept payment or invoices for items delivered
• Keep a record of items received and delivered
• Load and unload goods.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

Requirements

• Education: Some secondary school is required.
• Experience: Experience is an asset. On the job training will be provided.
• Work conditions and Physical capabilities: Attention to detail, Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads.
• Personal suitability: Client focus, Flexibility, Organized, Accurate, Punctuality.
• A valid driver’s license (Class DZ) is required.
• Weight handle: More than 45 kg (100 lbs.)
• Language: English is required.
• Salary: $36.00 per hour, 40 – 44 hours per week.

Important Information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The work schedule will be from Monday to Thursday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required depending on the business needs.
