Role Summary

The Process Engineering Leader holds a pivotal position within the organization, with a primary focus on implementing a comprehensive array of Focused, Safety, and Quality Improvement methods and tools. This involves strategically addressing losses and actively contributing to the establishment of a High-Performance Organization. The role plays a critical part in aligning operations with the Sail 27 strategy, emphasizing excellence, safety, and continuous improvement for overall organizational success.

Accountabilities:

  • Applies cost loss tree and root cause analysis techniques to diagnose issues, quantify improvement opportunities, and contribute to the creation of preventive measures.
  • Cultivates Carlsberg Excellence awareness and understanding at all organizational levels, fostering teamwork and individual contributions, while effectively communicating changes and minimizing risks.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance people capability, ensures accountability for improvement within the supply chain, and oversees continuous improvement while maintaining HSE, food safety, and hygiene standards in the brewing department.
  • Maintains optimal process parameters, calibrates measuring systems, and analyzes root causes of process failures, material losses, and quality issues, actively participating in preventive and corrective measures.
  • Understands key brewing material characteristics, specifications, tolerances, as well as food hygiene and safety standards, considering their impact on machinery and material requirements.
  • Demonstrates commitment and personal ownership, adhering to decisions and executing them with quality and speed.
  • Creates process specifications and employs instrumentation to guarantee adherence to process control, quality, and safety standard about legislation and international standards related to machinery safety circuits, ensuring practical application in the field.

  • Lead focus improvement initiatives seeking to restore basic conditions and create technical standards to ensure process capability, product quality and operational safety at the lines.
  • Act as the technical trainer for the line teams and provide coaching in root cause analysis, problem solving and establishment of countermeasures.
  • Ensure that all necessary standards are produced (SOPs / SMPs / CILs /etc) by the line teams aiming to share knowledge and foster a culture of LEARN - DO and TEACh
  • Maintains food safety and health & safety culture through active participation, communication, and management of programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods Experience preferably within Food and Beverage industry.
  • Experience in statistics and process control tools
  • Experience in Process and Organizational Design
  • Experience in Total Productivity Maintenance pillars and Root Cause Ananlysis with application of methods and tools
  • Results driven, self-starter with an innovative mindset.
  • Demonstrated planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
