Our client is mobility technology company focused on building software platforms and infrastructure for future transportation systems.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to evaluate and enhance the security of digital products. The role involves conducting penetration tests, identifying vulnerabilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Triage: Review product changes and assess if a penetration test is necessary
• Scoping: Identify components for testing, define test types, and estimate required effort
• Threat Modeling: Conduct informal threat models to identify critical testing areas and potential attacks
• Testing: Perform time-boxed penetration tests, including setup, teardown, reporting, and familiarization with technologies
• Reporting: Write clear, concise vulnerability reports, including severity assessment, reproduction steps, and justification
• Retesting: Confirm the effectiveness of remediations for previously reported vulnerabilities
• Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements to testing processes, documentation, templates, and tools
• Peer Review: Review and provide feedback on reports prepared by other testers
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with designers, product managers, and engineers to understand products and deliver quality testing
