Role and responsibilities:

• Carrier services platform feature design and development
• Development from requirements gathering phase to releasing the application to production
• Evaluate existing methods and drive continuous process improvements

スキル・資格

Required Skills:

• Programming Skills: Proficient in Java 8 and above, Spring, Cassandra, Oracle, REST API, JPA, Hibernate, Microservice
• 6+ years of experience in enterprise Java development
• Excellent written and oral communication in Japanese (JLPT N2 Level or higher) and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English is desirable (At least basic English communication skill is fine)
• Hands on Java Engineer capable of developing quality code
• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms
• Experienced in delivering advanced solutions for a multi-tier, distributed web application
• Experienced in crafting and implementing REST API
• Proven strong problem solving and debugging skills
• Experienced in developing applications that utilize relational databases (e.g. Oracle) and other less structured data stores (NoSQL)
• Ability to articulate the benefits of Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration
• Knowledge of data modeling using Oracle and Cassandra databases
• Equally valuable is experience in building low latency service APIs, and data aggregation pipelines
