Role Description

This is a Full-Time On-Site Homeroom Teacher position at EDURE LCA co., LTD's LCA Kokusai Preschool located in Hashimoto, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa. LCA Kokusai Preschool is an quaint little school that provides families and children with a unique style of early childhood education. Homeroom Teachers work with children to help them build skills in areas such as communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking through STEAM based learning. Teachers will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans, as well as supervising and ensuring the safety of children during school hours.

All employees work a 5-day work week.

Job Description:

• 5 days a Week, 7.45 hours per day (Mon - Fri)
• 2 Days Holiday (Sat & Sun)

1. Teaching duties:
Maintaining a homeroom class and adhering to LCA Teaching Standards as well as the Japanese Childcare Association

2. Duties include:
a. Developing instructional materials, creating lesson plans, unit plans, and conversation/listening activities.
b. Consistently delivering quality instruction to students with diverse needs and abilities.
c. In-house student level evaluations
d. Robotics and STEAM education. Spring and Summer Events, Camps, Excursions

3. Administrative Duties:
a. Attend Planning, Weekly and Daily meetings
b. Assist with school events and activities
c. Help with the school's PR department on various school promotion activities
d. Send lesson reports to families

Salary/Benefits:

• 250,000 ~ 280,000(Depending on Qualifications)/ month

Contract Term:
In the LCA, employment contracts from the third year onward are indefinite period contract, while contracts from year 0 to year 2 for full-time employees are fixed-term contracts with a term of one year or less.

- Year 0: Employment from October 2 through March 31
- Year  1:  Employment from April 1 through October 1
