Purpose:

To ensure the delivery and installation of medical supplies and equipment in an efficient and timely manner while also providing exceptional customer services.

Position: Equipment Delivery Driver (G license ONLY)
Location: Ontario Medical Supply

Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Hourly, commensurate with experience

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver/pick-up equipment, medication or supply parcels
Complete and submit delivery documentation/paperwork
Good grasp of mobile devices and app’s
Complete pre/post trip vehicle inspection
Communicate with clients regarding parcel delivery and pick up
Load/unload vehicle using safe lifting practices
Report delivery issues to dispatcher and/or Order Desk
Perform general cleaning duties

Qualifications:

Perform general cleaning duties
Completion of high school
Minimum 1 year full time working experience as a delivery driver
Good knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding area
Health and safety awareness training is an asset
Background check is required
Must have active full driver’s license in Ontario and produce a clean driver’s abstract; company vehicle will be provided
Bilingualism (English and French) an asset
Experience with assembly and installation of home medical equipment is an asset

SKILLS:

Candidates must demonstrate organization, flexibility, adaptability, and sound time management skills.
Candidate must be computer literate
Strong customer service skills/proven ability to interact with the elderly
