Job Description
We are seeking a Nonprofit Accountant for a company in Milwaukee, WI. This position offers hybrid flexibility - up to 4 days remote after training.
Job Responsibilities:
Full general ledger accounting and reporting for multiple clients
· Reconcile basic and complex balance sheet accounts
· Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheet and profit and loss statement
· Prepare reconciliations and journal entries
· Payroll administration and reporting
· Accounts payable and accounts receivable
· Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
· Audit preparation and assistance
· Generate 1099 forms and filing
. Sales and Use tax reporting
· Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions
· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
· Perform additional duties as assigned
Bachelor or Associate degree in Accounting
2+ years of nonprofit experience
