Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and user-focused UX Designer to join our team and shape intuitive, inclusive, and engaging digital experiences. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in interaction design, prototyping, and usability testing, with a strong portfolio showcasing work across web and mobile platforms. Experience in financial services or data-driven applications is an asset, as this role will focus on designing products that simplify complex information and empower clients in the wealth management and fintech space.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of UI patterns and behaviors to improve user comprehension and task performance.
• Use visualizations and interaction design to support analytic thinking with large datasets.
• Facilitate design critiques, ideation sessions, and collaborative workshops with cross-functional teams.
• Act as the interaction design subject-matter expert for the product design team.
• Create low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to explore and validate ideas.
• Build high-fidelity prototypes to guide development specifications.
• Present design solutions to senior stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
• Conduct usability testing and integrate user research into product design decisions.
• Research interaction design strategies and perform competitive audits in the financial services sector.
• Audit patterns, micro-interactions, and components to ensure consistency and inclusivity.

Job Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing web and mobile application design work.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing usable interfaces across multiple platforms.
• Strong background in integrating user research into product design.
• Proven ability to articulate design strategy, rationale, and risks associated with design choices.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or similar.
• Solid understanding of interaction design and visual design principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• (Nice to Have) Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and applied research methods.
