Job Description

Program Phoenix Technology Enablement Office (TEO) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic IT Project Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional teams. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of complex technology projects that align with business goals. Essential Responsibilities include serving as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, guiding them on Agile/Scrum practices and values; ensuring alignment between Agile teams and broader organizational goals; ensuring all team members understand Agile principles and practices and are actively participating in ceremonies; acting as a servant leader, empowering teams to self-organize and deliver high-quality results. Sprint Management duties include facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives; collaborating with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog; identifying and removing impediments that hinder team progress; tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress; promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement; coaching team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices and principles; overseeing the planning and execution of 2-week sprint cycles, ensuring teams meet their goals and deliverables; facilitating the kick-off or restart of a sprint calendar, defining clear start and end dates to align with business priorities; monitoring sprint progress and removing blockers to maintain team velocity. Collaboration Across Geographies involves partnering with peers in the United States to align sprint outcomes, priorities, and timelines to ensure daily continuous delivery; communicating sprint goals, progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders across global teams; fostering a culture of shared accountability and transparency across distributed teams. Continuous Improvement includes promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement by encouraging feedback, innovation, and process enhancements; leveraging metrics and retrospectives to identify areas for team growth and improvement. Stakeholder Communication involves serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring alignment between Product Owners, team members, and leadership; clearly documenting and presenting sprint outcomes to facilitate seamless collaboration and decision-making. Other responsibilities include supporting Agile transformation initiatives across the organization; assisting in the development and delivery of Agile training and workshops; collaborating with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share knowledge and improve practices; contributing to the development of Agile metrics and reporting tools. Required Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; 5+ years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager role; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification; strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe); excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills; proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications include experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry; advanced Agile certifications (e.g., CSP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist); familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps; experience with scaled Agile frameworks and enterprise-level Agile transformations; background in software development or IT infrastructure projects.
