About Automotive Catalysts

What you will be doing

Month-end closing and reporting

・ Coordinates monthly , quarterly and annual closing activities in collaboration with GFS  

(Global Financial Services)

・ Execute costing run for monthly non-metal inventory valuations

・ Calculate and review cost accrual s and provision items for month-end booking

・ Provide day-1 sales volumes forecast (actual and forecast)

・ Calculate the contribution margin for each product and upload the results to the AC 

finance system (CIS)

・ Prepare manufacturing cost center reports and upload the results into CIS

・ Conduct FTE reporting in collaboration with P&O (People & Organization )

・ Prepare USJP monthly financial reporting package with month-end financial results,                                              

focusing on P&L, BS, Cash flows, Contribution margin and working capital

・ Support the analysis and monitoring of working capital components

・ Support day-to-day accounting and finance operations

Forecast and budget planning

・ Update sales revenues and direct variable costs based on sales forecast volumes

・ Update departmental operational expenses for both forecast and budget cycles

・ Support Balance Sheet (BS) projections with a focus on working capital components

・ Liaise with relevant departments to gather FTE, operating expenses and Capex data

・ Enter finalized P&L and BS into AC finance system

Tax & Statutory Reporting

・ Manage tax filing and statutory reporting activities in collaboration with GFS, corporate

and external tax advisors

・ C onsumption tax filing (quarterly)

・ Depreciable asset tax filing (annually)

・ Business office tax filing (annually)

・ Submission of statutory reports (annually)

・ Corporate tax filing (annually)

・ Local transfer price file preparation

・ Group tax reporting using corporate tax system (LongView)

Financial audits

・ Support financial audit processes, including preparation of documentation,

coordination with auditors, and resolution of audit inquiries to ensure compliance with

internal controls and external regulatory requirements

Others

・ Support automation and digitalization initiatives within the finance function

・ Assist with bank-related activities including preparing documentation and submitting

financial information

・ Maintain master data, cost center and WBS structures

・ Fixed assets reporting

・ Support external audits

・ Other tasks as assigned by a supervisor

Who we are looking for

Functional requirements (Education, years of experience in different areas, technical skills, …)

Master or bachelor degree in Business or Finance

5+ years, experience in an industrial environment with an international company

Understanding of J-GAAP and IFRS

Good English verbal and written communication skills required

SAP user, experience of SAP

Practical skill and knowledge of MS office

Personal skills (Behavioural competencies)

Strong analytical skills

Well-structured
