🛠 Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior DBA skilled in SQL Server, Oracle, and Postgres , responsible for database engineering, performance tuning, automation, and enterprise-level support in a mission-critical environment.

🔧 Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain & optimize databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres)
• Ensure database health, availability, performance & resiliency
• Partner with developers & production support teams to resolve issues
• Participate in on-call rotation (alerts, escalations, weekends/holidays)
• Manage backup, recovery, failover & DR strategies
• Support database changes and ensure proper documentation
• Conduct capacity planning and performance analysis
• Contribute to team strategy, automation, and process improvements

🧩 Technical Skills

Core Required Skills

SQL Server (2016–2022):

• Clustering, AlwaysOn, performance tuning
• Oracle (19c / 12c):
• RAC, ASM, DataGuard, RMAN, Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Postgres: 2+ years hands-on
• Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows Server
• Scripting: Shell, Python, PowerShell
• Storage: EMC SAN
• Practices: Agile, SDLC

Nice to Have

• SQL Server in Azure
• Oracle Exadata / ExaCC
• GoldenGate
• Experience with Cassandra, MongoDB, or other DB platforms

💼 Experience Needed

• 6+ years hands-on with MSSQL (2016–2022)
• 3+ years hands-on with Oracle (19c/12c) on Unix/Linux
• 2+ years with Postgres
• Large-scale, highly available database experience
• Strong performance tuning (Oracle Optimizer, MSSQL)
• Automation/API development using Python
• Strong shell scripting & Linux scripting skills
