Our client, a leading Global Investment Bank, is seeking a senior contract Business Analyst for an ongoing Fixed Income platform transformation. • About the Role

You’ll be a key player in our Capital Markets Technology team, helping to shape the future of our Fixed Income platform. This role demands strong domain expertise, stakeholder management, and a mix of hands-on technical and business analysis skills.

• What You'll Do
• Partner with trading desks and stakeholders to understand and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Drive the successful trading systems migration, including integration with internal pricing systems.
• Gather and document business/functional requirements; participate in design, testing, and rollout.
• Liaise with technology teams and vendors (e.g., Bloomberg) for end-to-end solution delivery.

Required Experience:

• 4+ years of experience supporting or building Fixed Income IT trading systems within capital markets.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income trading workflows , including:
• Pricing, risk, RFQ, position/inventory management
• Clearing, settlements, and regulatory reporting
• Deep knowledge of electronic bond trading : Tradeweb, CanDeal, MarketAxess, etc.
• Familiarity with various bond types: Governments, Corporates, Provincials, SSAs, IG, HY , etc.
• Experience with Bloomberg trading systems
• Knowledge of one or more of the following platforms is a plus:
• Broadway, Broadridge ICI Impact, FIS BondOne (DSTS), BondFire, FinPro/SFCM, Calypso
• SQL proficiency required; Java, Python, and Linux scripting are strong assets.
• Excellent Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery methods.
