Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as a dedicated Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile values and principles. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Coach teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization. Remove impediments and shield the team from distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals. Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog effectively. Promote Agile methodologies and foster an environment of transparency and open communication. Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess team efficiency and areas for improvement. Facilitate cross-team coordination and collaboration in a scaled Agile environment. Provide guidance on Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, as applicable. Support the adoption and implementation of Agile tools and practices across the organization. Ensure compliance with security and clearance requirements as mandated by the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active Secret Clearance (or higher) Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent certification. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. Experience working in a government or defense contracting environment is a plus. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or VersionOne. Knowledge of DevOps practices and Agile at scale frameworks. Previous experience working with distributed teams. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Scrum Master to join our team supporting a government customer. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile processes, ensuring teams follow Scrum principles, and driving continuous improvement. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to remove impediments, enhance collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.
