Responsibilities:

  • Lead SAP rollout projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, finance stakeholders, and IT support.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers as needed.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Ensure SAP solutions support finance operations such as accounting, reporting, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • We are seeking a skilled SAP Rollout Project Manager with strong finance domain knowledge and Japanese bilingual capabilities to lead SAP implementation and rollout projects.
  • Lead SAP rollout projects across multiple regions, focusing on finance/Insurance-related business processes.
  • Collaborate with global and local teams to ensure successful deployment of SAP solutions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between finance stakeholders and SAP implementation teams.
  • Ensure alignment with global SAP templates while managing localization requirements for Japan.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings to gather business requirements from finance teams.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and budget effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Communicate project progress and issues clearly to stakeholders in both Japanese and English.

Bilingual requirements : Fluent, Japanese & English language business level proficiency.
