Volt is immediately hiring an
EHS Associate in
Detroit, Michigan with a well-known industry leader.
In this role you will collaborate with innovative teams and contribute to workplace safety and compliance.
This is a first shift position. As an EHS Associate you will: - Assist with the 2025 Noise Dosimetry Survey and identifying solutions to reduce noise levels
- Support 2025 Chemical Exposure Monitoring
- Improve Lock Out/Tag Out processes and procedures
- Conduct ergonomic analyses and implementing improvements to the packaging process
- Perform other duties as assigned
This is a
full-time contingent opportunity
Estimated Duration 24+ months The ideal candidate will have: - 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
- 1-3 years of experience working in the Industrial Health and Safety
- Knowledge of Industrial Hygiene, including chemical and noise exposure monitoring
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Initiative and proactive problem-solving
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
- High School Diploma or GED
Pay Rate: $21.37 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
