THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a full-time Legal Operations Administrator to join our small but growing legal and compliance team to help it navigate the demands of a fast-paced operating environment. In this role, you will lead legal records and entity management for multiple Ledn entities across multiple jurisdictions, coordinate operational workflows for the legal and compliance team, and provide administrative support to various legal and regulatory compliance initiatives that are critical to Ledn’s success.

You will initially report to Ledn’s Corporate and Product Counsel and work closely with the broader legal and compliance team, as well as Finance, People, Product, and other business stakeholders.

This is an adaptive role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You must be a self-starter, agile with technology, and meticulous in your organization and attention to detail.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Corporate Records & Entity Management

• Manage corporate records, registrations, and filings for multiple Ledn entities in the Cayman Islands, Canada, the U.S., and other jurisdictions as we expand.
• Maintain minute books, corporate resolutions, director and officer records, and corporate organizational charts for multiple Ledn entities.
• Coordinate with external corporate service providers, local counsels, and internal stakeholders to ensure filings, responses to external requests, and deadlines are addressed in a timely manner.
• Administer the company’s equity incentive plan management system (Carta).

Legal Operations & Process Management

• Design and administer the intake processes for legal and compliance requests (e.g., contract reviews, marketing reviews, customer inquiries, regulatory/law enforcement requests).
• Support legal and compliance team workflows, including matter tracking, resource planning, and calendar coordination.
• Manage invoicing, record-keeping, and other administrative processes for the legal and compliance team.
• Maintain legal and compliance team technology tools.

Legal and Regulatory Compliance Support

• Support legal reviews of basic commercial agreements such as NDAs, simple leases, and insurance policies.
• Support regulatory licensing applications and regulator inquiries across multiple jurisdictions, including gathering relevant documents, coordinating responses, and tracking progress.
• Support due diligence requests from internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU BRING TO LEDN:

• 3+ years of experience in a legal administrative, legal operations, or law firm coordinator role.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, and demonstrated ability to build processes that promote efficiency.
• Experience working with entities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Experience with supporting due diligence, maintaining minute books, and performing legal and regulatory compliance filings.
• Excellent technology skills and comfortable with learning new tools, including AI.
• You are resourceful and love seeing challenging projects through from start to finish.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing tasks to meet deadlines, and take the initiative to get the job done.
• You have a passion for collaboration, making an impact, and driving change.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, fintech, crypto)
• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, verbal communication) is an asset
