Join our Japan Export Operation team as a Program Manager based in this strategic role you will leverage your expertise in supply chain management and Amazons Fulfillment Network to drive significant improvements across our B2C export operations in the APAC region (Japan Australia Singapore Malaysia). You will collaborate with both internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize customer experience expand operational capacity enhance delivery capabilities improve cost performance accelerate delivery speeds and maximize operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities
Carrier Management
-Build and maintain strategic carrier relationships
-Enforce performance standards and accountability
-Optimize carrier operations for efficiency and cost reduction
-Negotiate and manage service level agreements

Operational Excellence
-Manage end-to-end operations from fulfillment centers through customs to last-mile delivery
-Track and optimize key metrics related to quality speed defects and costs
-Conduct regular performance reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR) with data-driven improvement plans
-Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for operational challenges
-Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams

A day in the life
Your typical day involves collaborating with diverse partners across the globe from domestic operation teams (Fulfillment centers and Linehaul) business teams system configuration specialists to logistics partners. Youll analyze performance metrics and work on solutions to complex shipping challenges. Youll balance multiple priorities while ensuring clear communication with stakeholders at all levels. The role offers flexibility to work on various initiatives that directly impact millions of customers worldwide.

- Bachelors degree
- 2 years of logistics or supply chain operations experience
- Experience defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLOOKUPs) at an advanced level
- English and Japanese written and verbal communication skills

- Experience in end-to-end delivery management
- Strong stakeholder management skills dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building and optimizing operational processes and workflows
- Knowledge of international logistics operations including customs clearance trade compliance and global shipping regulations
