No experience necessary! You will receive local and international training to become a successful ‘Legal Recruitment Consultant’. Earn more than 20 million yen in 5 years!

We at Just Legal are a specialized search firm with an outstanding reputation for supporting career transitions in the legal compliance sector. Established in 2014, between all senior members of the firm, we have over 20 years of industry experience and strong connections in financial institutions, law firms, the pharmaceutical industry, and the IT sector.

Due to an increase in client job requests, we are looking to hire associates to start as trainee consultants. Even if you start with no experience in the recruitment industry, you can aim to become a consultant with an annual income of 15 million yen in two years. We will train you to achieve this goal. In five years, you could potentially aim for an annual income of 35 million yen.

• Structured Training: Regardless of your level of experience, you will trained by colleagues based locally in Tokyo, or outside in England and other countries. All training provided by professionals with more than 10 years of experience in legal recruitment.
• High-Earning Potential: This role will give you the possibility of achieving an annual income of over 35 million year by your 6th year as a recruiter.

Job description:

In 2 to 5 years, you will aim to become a consultant who consistently supports high-level professionals within the legal and compliance market. Initially, you will start by contacting candidates over the phone and email. These contacts will potentially become your candidates in the future.

Specific tasks include:

• Listing contact points: Based on client requirements, list potential candidates to contact.
• Contacting candidates: Reach out via phone call or digitally.
• Project support: Assists colleagues with various projects, and receive support from colleagues for own projects.
• Market research: Conduct market research, primarily in the private practice sector.

Job requirements:

1. Recent graduates are welcome to apply.
2. No legal knowledge is required.
3. Language proficiency: We require native or fluent Japanese language skills and the possibility of communicating in English fluently.
4. Being comfortable making phone calls

Employment details:

1. Employment type: Full-time employee
2. Probation period: 3 months (NO change in working conditions during this period)
3. Bonuses: No regular bonuses, commissions are paid based on successful candidate placement support.
4. Working hours: 9 am to 6 pm
