Weekend Night Shift Supervisor – Manufacturing

Location: GTA

Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours/week, paid as 40 hours)

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Weekend Night Shift Supervisor to oversee plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a critical leadership role ensuring production targets, safety standards, and employee engagement are consistently met.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with proven supervisory experience, capable of both motivating a workforce and addressing situations with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the facility and achievement of production goals.
• Supervise, support, and engage production personnel across weekend shifts.
• Review and schedule manpower and production requirements.
• Coordinate and validate training for production employees.
• Monitor production quality, efficiency, and downtime; follow and report on KPIs.
• Prepare shift and production reports.
• Provide direction to Foremen and Lead Hands to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement and maintain health & safety procedures, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Enforce workplace environment protocols, AIB requirements, and company safety standards.
• Investigate and report on accidents or near-miss situations.
• Lead monthly shift meetings and communicate daily events with management and peer supervisors.
• Promote teamwork and uphold company values by leading by example.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (Team Lead only experience will not be considered).
• Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to engage a team.
• Proven ability to manage absenteeism challenges and encourage team reliability.
• Working knowledge of the Ontario Health & Safety Act.
• Solid technical and organizational skills to oversee weekend operations effectively.
