LPN/RN – Charge Nurse - PRN

As our Charge Nurse, you will have the opportunity to help set the standard supporting not only our residents, but our nursing team as well. We are seeking a talented LPN who values older adults, to join our team of compassionate care givers.

As the LPN/RN – Charge Nurse your duties would include:

• Providing professional nursing care to our residents through the proper administration of prescribed medications and treatments;
• Documenting pertinent information in the resident care notes/chart;
• Assists in the admission, transfer, and discharge of residents in accordance with physician orders, Misericordia policy and governing regulations.
• Provide companionship as well as nursing care to our residents, ensuring their understanding of the care being provided.
• Provide leadership and guidance to our talented team of CNAs

You will use your assessment skills, make decisions, and help the team to serve our residents.

Requirements:

• Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania
• At least two years’ experience in a long-term care setting
• Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
• Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers.
