As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions FSG is expanding its staff and seeking a Lighting Retrofit Foreman to join our Dallas team.

As the Lighting Retrofit Foreman, you will not only help ensure projects are completed on‐time, in the safest possible manner, and are delivered with the highest quality, but also are a leader and role model to a team of Lighting Technicians. As a Foreman, you provide direction and training to Technicians which directly influences the end result of a project. You not only help make business facilities more efficient and less costly, but also improve the safety, health and comfort for those using them.

Job Description:

• Promote and role model safe practices following all FSG and OSHA guidelines, and actively participate in and complete regular safety training
• Assist with proper training of Lighting Technicians on all FSG policies, procedures and practices, along with National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines
• Provide clear and proper direction to team members and ensure appropriate project prioritization
• Assist installing the light fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls or other items associated with the lighting systems
• Ensure that the jobsite is maintained to the highest standards to include: cleaned, prepared and all possible hazards eliminated
• Provide a top-notch customer experience that leaves a lasting impression; always interact in a professional and respectful manner and go above and beyond expectations
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on‐time
• Prioritize the project tasks given to you by the Project Manager (“PM”) and appropriately delegate those tasks to the team
• Ensure that all crew members are always using proper safety gear and precautions
• Work from ladders, lifts, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout service job/work order process
• Must understand and comply with Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines
• Complete all necessary administrative paperwork such as filling out daily work tickets, taking necessary photos, checking in/out of jobs, and communicating with PMs on job status and issues
• Ensures projects are completed to scope and workmanship is up to code

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• At least 2-4 years of Foreman level or construction management experience
• Lighting and retrofit experience preferred
• Electrical license required
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel
• Must be willing to work any shift that is needed, including nights
• Must be willing to work overtime as required
• Must be reliable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills
