Overview:
You will be responsible for the design development and research of hydraulic components and hydraulic systems used in hydraulic excavators.
This role also involves improving design through root cause analysis of product issues related to hydraulic systems and components and implementing design improvements.
In addition to the above this position requires strong negotiation consensus-building and collaboration skills with domestic and international departments and suppliers.
High-level communication skills are also essential to accurately understand customer needs and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Hydraulic engineering experience is not mandatory as long as you meet the Required Qualifications listed below.

Responsibilities:

• Design development and maintenance of hydraulic systems and components for hydraulic excavators (ranging from 12t class small to over 10t class super-large excavators).
• Performance design and tuning in vehicle performancesuch as operability fuel efficiency productivity and cooling performancefrom the perspective of hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with electrical systems and software teams to develop electric-hydraulic (EH) systems.
• Work with related departments and suppliers throughout the development process from concept to mass production including product refinement in cooperation with manufacturing and procurement departments aftermarket support and design-related tasks for product maintenance after mass production.
• Engage in activities aimed at optimizing product costs.

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical skills engineering capabilities and technical comprehension.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate smoothly with team members domestic and international stakeholders other departments customers and suppliers.
• Practical experience in the design and development of mechanical products.
• Strong execution skills for planning managing and carrying out development tasks through to mass production.
• Minimum ability to collaborate with global teams using English for design and development (especially written and reading proficiency).
• Ability to analyze situations based on data and consider accurate and effective solutions.
• High-level communication skills in Japanese.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Deep knowledge of hydraulic technology and experience in developing hydraulic systems and components.
• Experience in developing electro-hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read hydraulic circuit diagrams and practical experience in design development and troubleshooting using them.
• High-level communication skills in English.

油圧システムや油圧機器に関する製品不具合の原因究明と設計改善活動を通じて設計品質の改善業務も担っていただきます

本ポジションでは上記に加え国内外の関連部門やサプライヤーとの交渉力合意形成力協業推進力も求められます

職務内容

油圧ショベル小型超大型向けの油圧システムおよび油圧機器の設計開発保守の実務担当
操作性燃費効率生産性冷却性能といった車両性能の向上を油圧システムの観点から推進します
電気システムおよびソフトウェアチームと連携し電気油圧システムの開発も担当します
関連部門およびサプライヤーと協業し製品の構想段階から量産化に至るまでの開発業務製造購買部門との連携による製品の作り込みアフターマーケット対応量産後の製品メンテナンスの設計関連実務も担当頂きます

また製品のコスト最適化に向けた活動にも取り組んで頂きます

• 機械製品の設計開発に関する実務経験

• グローバルチームと英語での設計開発を用いて協業する最低限の能力(特に英語の作文力と読解力)
• データに基づいた状況分析と的確かつ効果的な解決策の検討力
• 日本語による高いコミュニケーション能力
