Company Profile

• An innovative and rapidly growing cryptocurrency exchange is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Corporate Planning to lead its business planning, budgeting, and growth initiatives in Japan. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the C-suite, driving strategic decision-making and supporting the company's expansion in a dynamic, highly regulated industry.

The Role

• Lead the corporate planning function, including mid- to long-term business strategy development, financial planning, and forecasting.
• Partner with senior management to design and execute growth strategies, new business initiatives, and market entry plans.
• Oversee budgeting, KPIs, and performance tracking across all departments.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support data-driven decisions.
• Liaise with global headquarters and regional offices to ensure alignment on financial goals and reporting standards.
• Prepare reports and materials for board meetings and investor relations as needed.

Your Skills

• Proven experience (8+ years) in corporate planning, business strategy, or management consulting, ideally within fintech, financial services, or high-growth tech sectors.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Solid understanding of the crypto/virtual assets market and relevant regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills in both Japanese and English.
• Leadership experience managing small high-performing teams is preferred.

• 15 million yen - 25 million yen
