Forklift Operator/Shipper/Receiver Location Châteauguay, QC :

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products for delivery.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment.
• Utilize forklifts and clamp trucks to move heavy items safely within the warehouse.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling materials and operating equipment.
• Conduct basic maintenance on warehouse equipment as needed.
• Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or a similar role is preferred.
• Preferably experienced in clamp truck.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively.
• Proficient in operating forklifts and clamp trucks; certification is desirable.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout the shift.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A team player who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
