Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Flexera Engineer with a strong background in software asset management and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Flexera products, including Flexera Cloud and FNMS, along with expertise in database management and software development. This role involves implementing and optimizing software asset management solutions, providing technical support, and collaborating across various teams to ensure successful software inventory and license compliance.

Responsibilities:

Implementation and Optimization:

• Implement and manage the Tanium Connector to enhance license reporting and replace outdated systems.
• Conduct thorough diagnostics to resolve network issues impacting license reconciliation.
• Advise on agent upgrades for Flexera Kubernetes Agent to ensure comprehensive inventory management.

Software Asset Management:

• Lead the initial implementation of Flexera Cloud to effectively report and manage all software assets.
• Oversee successful migration projects, including single sign-on (SSO) integration.
• Develop and maintain custom Business Adapters for importing data from ServiceNow into Flexera One.

Data Management:

• Utilize MSSQL for data formatting and mapping to ensure accurate import into cloud databases.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the import of assets from multiple platforms, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Technical Development:

• Customize user interfaces and license generators for high-profile clients, enhancing product usability and functionality.
• Serve as SCRUM Master, leading meetings with both local and offshore clients to streamline project workflows.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, helping them prioritize tasks and develop their technical skills.

Quality Assurance:

• Identify and resolve flaws in the implementation of licensing products, ensuring robust performance across multiple third-party license generators.
• Expand existing web services to include new features, using a combination of Java and SQL in a Linux environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Flexnet Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successful implementations and migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Flexera products, especially Flexera Cloud, FNMS, and Flexera One.
• Proficiency in database management (MSSQL) and data import processes.
• Solid understanding of software development practices, particularly in Java, SQL, and web technologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with SCRUM is a plus.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and other ITSM tools.
