Job Description

Join a dynamic dental team in Vancouver's vibrant Kitsilano neighborhood, very close to the downtown area. The team is seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to provide exceptional patient care in a modern, digital practice. Main duties:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures \
• Take and develop digital X-rays
• Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper setup for procedures
• Take accurate and detailed chart notes in patient records
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Note: This position does not include billing or supply ordering responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Monday 10:30am-06:15pm
• Tuesday 08:30am-05:15pm
• Wednesday 07:30am-04:15pm
• Thursday 08:30am-06:15pm
• Friday 07:30am-04:15pm

Compensation:

• $35-$38 per hour, depending on experience
• Insurance
• Two sets of uniforms
• Free parking 300m away from the office

Requirements: 

• Registered as a Certified Dental Assistant in the BCCOHP
• 2+ years of experience as a full-time paid CDA in Canada
• Previous experience with cosmetic dentistry, Endodondics and/or Periodontics
• Ortho module would be an asset
• Committed and punctual, well organized, able to follow processes and management instructions, strong communication skills with staff and patients.
