Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and highly organized On-Site Events Manager to oversee the execution of our live events—including networking nights, esports socials, café takeovers, and pop-up tournaments.

You'll be our boots on the ground, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from setup to teardown. You'll coordinate with venue staff, manage check-ins, troubleshoot live issues, and make sure attendees feel welcome and engaged. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives under pressure and knows how to make things happen in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary National Esports Tournament (NEST) representative during events

• Coordinate with venue staff, partners, and vendors

• Manage event setup, signage, and equipment on-site

• Oversee registration/check-in and crowd flow

• Troubleshoot problems quickly and professionally

• Maintain a strong brand presence and customer experience

• Capture notes and feedback for post-event review

• Ensure cleanup and breakdown are handled efficiently

• Represent NEST values and standards at all times

Qualifications:

• Experience managing in-person events

• Strong people skills and calm under pressure

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Able to lift/move basic event equipment (signs, banners, small tech)

• Familiar with esports, gaming, or creator communities (a plus)

• Comfortable managing small teams or volunteers

• Weekend and evening availability required (events are not 9–5)
