Responsibilities:

• Operate a DZ-class commercial vehicle safely and in compliance with all provincial regulations and company policies.
• Make daily local deliveries and pick ups to customers according to the schedule, in a safe and professional manner
• Prepare and complete all paperwork (BOL) needed
• Review and verify proper material is loaded and delivered
• Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules
• Complete pre-trip inspections of truck and safely operate equipment
• Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack pull and carry heavy items
• Ability to drive confidentially in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions
• Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customers relationships

Qualifications:

• Valid DZ class license
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract
• Comfortable operating 5 ton tandem axle delivery truck, automatic with air brakes
• Organized and keen attention to detail
• Mechanically inclined and knowledgeable about tires
• Physically fit, capable of heavy lifting (100+ pounds)
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
