Basic Function
Under the direction of the DC Center Manager and team leaders, this role is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations in collaboration with 3PL partners. The main duties include adjusting work priorities and optimizing staff allocation based on operational progress to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders. The role also involves planning and executing initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities
Monitor daily progress of warehouse operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted workflows.
Coordinate with 3PL partners to adjust operational priorities as needed to meet customer delivery deadlines.
Measure, visualize, and analyze performance metrics such as productivity, work quality, and customer service, and implement improvement initiatives accordingly.
Identify and implement improvements in operational processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
Collaborate with delivery carriers to identify improvement opportunities in DC operations and promote initiatives that strengthen effective partnerships to ensure timely deliveries.
Address operational improvement points identified through audits and contribute to building a more robust operation.
Prepare and compile various reports, including data aggregation and processing using Excel.
Support warehouse operations hands-on alongside 3PL staff during peak seasons or emergency situations (as needed).
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments, outsourcing partners, and delivery carriers to strengthen collaboration.
Work collaboratively with team members, sharing responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
