Key Responsibilities

• Experience in leading design and specification of centrifugal chillers, shell-and-tube heat exchangers, and associated piping systems in accordance 
• Perform load calculations, refrigerant flow modeling, and chiller system simulations using tools like TRACE 700/3D Plus, HAP, or EnergyPlus.
• Develop technical documentation including P&IDs, piping layouts, equipment data sheets, valve and control schematics.
• Design for redundancy (N+1, 2N) in accordance with Tier III/IV data center standards.
• Coordinate with structural and electrical engineers to ensure compliance with guidelines on pipe supports, anchors, and expansion joints.
• Integrate chiller plant design with building management systems (BMS) and energy efficiency control logic.
• Oversee vendor reviews, bid evaluations, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site acceptance tests (SAT).
• Provide technical leadership during commissioning and retro-commissioning phases.
• Stay up to date with evolving ASME, ANSI, and ASHRAE standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Systems Engineering.
• 10+ years in HVAC design with at least 5 years specializing in centrifugal chiller systems

• ASME experiences is good to have
