Western Memorial Regional Hospital, a brand new, state of the art, acute care hospital opened in June 2024, is a 164-bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland and provides services to a population base of approximately 80,000 people.
Western Health and Medical Consultants of Western Newfoundland are seeking the services of a fee for service, Non-invasive Cardiologist to practice in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. Responsibilities include participation in the General Medicine on call schedule.
The Medical Consultants Group is a dynamic group of eight Internal Medicine Specialists. The Group provides a high volume, clinical service with provision of General Internal Medicine and Sub-Specialty services to a population of approximately 78,000. We offer:
Qualifications Required: Eligible for licensure as a Non-invasive Cardiologist with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL) and the ability to meet the credentialing requirements of Western Health?s Discipline of Medicine. We are seeking candidates with the appropriate sub-specialty training.
Remuneration: Fee for Service basis as per the Medical Care Plan (MCP) fee schedule. An annual Retention Bonus is offered in accordance with the current Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
Available Incentives
Physician Signing Bonus $150,000 with $25,000 top up
Come Home Incentive - $100,000 (if eligibility criteria are met)
