Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, economics, computer engineering or related analytics field from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement
• 5-8 years’ experience with solid analytical skills
• 5+ years of experience in Looker Business Intelligence (LookML, dashboards, explores, and SQL queries)
• Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and ETL concepts .
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, or other cloud-based data warehouses .
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimization of Looker reports and queries.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access control within Looker.
• Experience in version control systems (Git) for LookML development is a plus.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to research and make decisions based on the day-to-day and complex customer problems required
• Prior experience in analytics-based consulting is desirable

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, assess feasibility and ensure alignment with project goals
• Be involved in the approach to the problem, structure and delivery of the solution
• Contribute to how analytical approach is structured for specification of analysis and gathering insights from conclusions that integrate with initial hypothesis and business objective
• Independently address complex problems
• Extremely comfortable working with data, including managing large number of data sources, analyzing data quality, and pro-actively working with client’s data/ IT teams to resolve issues
• Reformulate highly technical information into concise, understandable terms for presentations
