Base Hourly: $16-$18 based on experience

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing

The Delivery Driver plays a key role in our logistics team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of auto parts to customers throughout the service area. This includes loading the delivery vehicle each morning, transporting items safely, obtaining signatures, and photographing deliveries for proof of receipt. The position also involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness, providing excellent customer service, and supporting warehouse operations as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in being a professional representative of our company on the road.

Responsibilities:

Daily Delivery Operations:

• Load vehicle with designated parts based on delivery schedule.
• Verify parts against delivery manifest for accuracy.
• Deliver parts promptly and safely to customer locations.
• Obtain customer signatures and take clear, timestamped delivery photos.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, noting any issues or delays.

Customer Interaction:

• Greet clients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Address basic inquiries and report concerns to the Sales Manager.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:

• Conduct daily inspections (tires, lights, fluids).
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.

Logistics Support:

• Assist with returns, pickups, and warehouse loading as needed.
• Communicate delivery progress with dispatch and the Sales Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior delivery or driving experience preferred, especially in auto parts or logistics.
• License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Skills: Punctuality, attention to detail, professionalism, and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Technology: Comfortable using smartphones or tablets for GPS, digital signatures, and photo documentation.
• Communication: Able to interact courteously with clients and team members and report issues clearly.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry auto parts weighing up to approximately 100 lbs.
• Regularly required to load/unload delivery vehicle.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Will be exposed to varying weather conditions and occasional warehouse environments.
