Key Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting Manager to oversee and manage financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and JGAAP, bridging any gaps and ensuring accuracy.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes ensuring alignment with IFRS and JGAAP.
• Ensure compliance with local Japanese tax regulations.
• Support the financial processes, AR, AP and GL where needed. Identify process improvements.
• Support implementation of the Group's internal control framework Provide guidance on accounting processes and best practices to accounting staff. Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and JGAAP with experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Experience with both industrial accounting (costing, inventory, production-related expenses) and sales accounting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Fluency in Japanese and English is required

Y our Skills

• A solid background in IFRS and JGAAP, as well as a solid understanding of both industrial and sales accounting.
• This role will be responsible to support accurate financial reporting both in JGAAP and in IFRS.

Salary

• 3,500 yen - 4,500 yen / hour
